About
Finite Frontier is a libertarian-economy survival Minecraft server and spiritual successor to Liberty Minecraft (LMC), founded by NullCase around 2017.
Philosophy
The specific economy rules, commands, and plugin implementations have changed across servers and iterations. What's constant is the underlying concept:
- Private property through claims — players buy land protection with in-game resources, not time or handouts
- Resource-backed currency — money is minted from mined resources (diamonds), not spawned by admins
- Markets through player shops — commerce is player-to-player, with no admin shops or price controls
- No handouts, no teleportation, no admin conveniences — players earn everything through gameplay
- Minimal rules — don't grief, resolve disputes nonviolently
"Resolve non-violent disputes non-violently." — NullCase
