Custom Features

Mooshroomia runs several custom plugins that add unique gameplay features beyond the standard economy, land claims, and shops. These are built specifically for the server and are not available on typical Minecraft servers.

Named Claims (NameClaims)

Give your GriefPrevention claims a name using /nameclaim <name>. When any player walks into a named claim, the name displays as a title on their screen -- useful for marking towns, shops, or landmarks. Named claims also appear as labeled markers on the Dynmap web map, making it easy for others to find notable locations.

  • /nameclaim <name> -- set a name (maximum 32 characters)
  • /nameclaim clear -- remove the name

Diamond Exchange Block (FFCurrency)

A craftable lodestone-style block that lets you trade between physical diamonds and your cash balance without using commands. Craft one using the in-game recipe, place it down, and interact:

  • Left-click: sell diamonds from your inventory for cash
  • Right-click: buy diamonds with your cash balance
  • Shift+click: trade in stacks of 64
  • Silk touch: required to pick the block back up (it breaks without dropping otherwise)

This gives players a physical, in-world way to mint and redeem currency -- handy for shop districts or personal bases.

Wolf Riding (WolfRider)

Tame a wolf and then ride it. This custom plugin turns tamed wolves into mounts, giving players a unique way to travel across the world.

Magic Carpet (MagicCarpet)

A flying carpet item that provides an alternative mode of transportation. Hop on and soar above the landscape.

PVP Toggle (PvpToggle)

Player-versus-player combat is disabled by default for all players. If you want to fight, use /pvp on to opt in. You can only damage and be damaged by other players who have also opted in. Use /pvp off to return to safety. Your PVP preference persists across sessions and server restarts.

Donut Spawn (DonutSpawn)

New players do not spawn at a fixed location. Instead, the server places them at a random point within configurable donut-shaped zones around the world center. This system prevents spawn camping, spreads the player population naturally across the finite world, and avoids dropping newcomers inside existing land claims.

Auto Restart (AutoRestart)

When the last player disconnects from the server, it automatically restarts to keep performance fresh. This happens transparently -- by the time anyone reconnects, the server is already back up and running. You will never notice it during normal play.
