Other Notable Players
Liberty Minecraft's world was shaped by dozens of players who built businesses, explored wilderness, constructed landmarks, and contributed to the server's culture in ways large and small. While some players warranted their own articles, many others left marks that deserve recognition. What follows are brief profiles of notable players whose contributions enriched the server.
Remix (Remixster / Remix_D_Miner)
Few players left a deeper physical imprint on Liberty Minecraft than Remix. Originally known as Remixster when he joined in 2017, Remix was an infrastructure builder, diamond miner, and one of the wealthiest players in the server's history.
His most ambitious project was a subway system with rail lines connecting to nodes every 1,000 meters. The project began in the Old World and was rebuilt in the New World after the 2018 transition. The tunnels served a dual purpose: transportation and diamond mining. By digging at diamond level across thousands of meters, Remix earned millions simply as a byproduct of construction.
At his peak, Remix held more than 200 land claims -- compared to NullCase's roughly twenty. When he eventually left the server, the automated auction system processed his vast holdings over weeks. His former estate near Spawn sold for over $6 million to Aewheros, with bidding spiking forty percent in the final minute. By the time all his auctions concluded, Remix had accumulated a fortune of at least $27.75 million, with more than eighty percent coming from auction proceeds. He also opened the world's first honey shop near his signature landmark, Remix's Arch, and operated wool shops in multiple locations.
TheMotherBrayne
TheMotherBrayne was a newcomer who quickly amassed a fortune and became one of the server's most active real estate investors. Her most significant early action was purchasing every property that Pancen offered for sale in Oak Hills, an event that triggered Pancen's famous realization about the value of his own work (see the article on Pancen).
Beyond Oak Hills, TheMotherBrayne was involved in a major desert construction project alongside VeillofSorrow, Shadow_Strike, and KJoPatrice, where the pace of building was described as "frenzied." She supplied striking photographs of the server using Sildurs Shaders, images that showcased Liberty Minecraft's architecture in dramatic lighting. She was also the server's top donor in at least one period, contributing $100 in a single month. Her rapid rise from newcomer to major economic force illustrated how the server's free-market system rewarded ambition and capital accumulation.
JumboToast
JumboToast was a merchant and builder based in the City of Valmur, Minarchu's Norse settlement in the far north. His commercial activities ranged from selling basic commodities like wood logs and potatoes to dealing in newly available Nether materials such as Crimson and Warped stems after the 1.16 update.
His crowning achievement was Toast Tower, located east of New Oslo. Inspired by the Empire State Building, the massive structure housed "Supershops" for steak, gold, emeralds, dark prismarine, and soul soil. With more than eighty percent of the building still available for expansion, Toast Tower was designed for a scale of commerce that the server's remaining lifespan could not quite fulfill.
East of New Oslo you'll find this huge building. Inspired by the Empire State Building, JumboToast's new property is a lightning rod for commerce.
Drassenov (DrAssenov)
Drassenov was a designer and builder who arrived relatively late in the server's history but made an immediate impression. NullCase described builders like her as "mystical creatures" whose creative process he could not quite understand but found deeply entertaining and inspiring.
In late August 2020, Minarchu sold Drassenov more than 1,000 square meters of land in Valmur, making her a resident designer in what NullCase called "the world's fastest growing town." She designed at least two houses during her short stay and also contributed a design to Pancen's build challenge in Oak Hills.
Community builders and designers are like mystical creatures. I don't quite understand how they do their magic, but it's highly entertaining and inspiring.
StanleyC
StanleyC operated a Woodland Mountain Village -- one of only a handful that could be counted on one hand in Liberty Minecraft. Over several weeks, he converted a naturally generated village into an industrial trading post, establishing passive iron production through an iron golem farm and maintaining a full complement of villagers for trade.
In Minecraft, villagers allow players to produce emeralds and exchange them for valuable products like diamond armor. Liberty Minecraft's players had dramatically reduced the profit margins on villager trades by driving down the cost of emerald production -- a natural consequence of competition in a free market.
CapitalistPig (The AnCap Pigman)
The AnCap Pigman was an armed pigman mob stationed above the Grand Bazaar's portal room, positioned under a glass ceiling. Placed by Aewheros, who appeared to be "hiring guards," the figure stood armed to the teeth as a tongue-in-cheek mascot for the Bazaar -- the world's largest array of shop designs where players could buy subclaim access. The CapitalistPig was more mascot than player, but it captured the server's ideological humor perfectly.
Dioswilson
Dioswilson was a seasoned combat player who earned the title "Slayer of Dragons" in February 2020. A Minecraft bug had caused multiple Ender Dragons to spawn simultaneously on the End Island, creating a dangerous situation for anyone venturing into the End dimension. When three dragons were discovered flying hundreds of meters from the End Island, threatening the safety of all visitors, Dioswilson dispatched all three in moments.
On February 12th, Dioswilson, a seasoned pro dispatched all three in a moment's notice.
SteelPanMaster
SteelPanMaster was a village builder who constructed an island village, one of at least seven villages created by private citizens in Liberty Minecraft. While villages spawned naturally during world generation, they were vulnerable to destruction if left unprotected. Players like SteelPanMaster went further than simply protecting existing villages -- they built entirely new ones from scratch. His island village had spawned iron golems for security and was home to plenty of cats, with plans for a port and lighthouse in the works.
Haksndot
Haksndot was one of Liberty Minecraft's most active and influential players, and arguably NullCase's most ambitious citizen. His contributions spanned both eras of the server, though his most significant work occurred in the New World.
Old World Activities
In the Old World, Haksndot co-founded TARP (Terrain and Agricultural Restoration Program) with Japanimator. The program was a private conservation effort focused on restoring areas damaged by careless players. Haksndot purchased approximately $800,000 worth of jungle saplings to fund reforestation across the map. Together with Japanimator, he restored and developed Costa Vista, a seaside town with shops selling cake and pumpkin pie. These efforts were funded entirely through private investment, not server funds.
New World Activities
The New World was where Haksndot's ambitions reached their fullest expression. Within hours of the August 31, 2018 launch, he and Spfoia began constructing Origo Station, the central hub of the Netherway transit system. Haksndot had spent months planning the station before the New World even opened, mapping coordinates, sourcing materials, and testing designs.
He developed New Stockholm into one of the server's most prestigious districts, building on land originally claimed by Heronproject. He operated the Rack Exchange, buying discarded Netherrack from other players and converting it into Nether Brick for the Netherway's expanding infrastructure. He commissioned the builder Rehns to construct a mansion at Spawn, which he then gifted to NullCase -- a gesture of appreciation that became one of the server's most celebrated stories (see the article on NullCase). He also built a hedge maze on Spawn's north side and negotiated with Remix over portal access as the Netherway network grew.
Minarchu
Though primarily covered in the article on Uldrik and Valmur, Minarchu deserves mention as one of Liberty Minecraft's most prolific builders. He established the Great North Estate, founded the City of Valmur, built Castle Valmur carved from a mountain, created a shrine for a rare floating fern, and presided over what NullCase called "the world's fastest growing town." His creative vision brought a Norse mythological dimension to a server otherwise dominated by economic themes.
VernierYeti
VernierYeti founded McBonalds, a food enterprise headquartered just outside Valmur. The business offered steak, milk, and leather as a byproduct, along with labor contracts for players seeking help. VernierYeti had ambitions to open locations worldwide -- a franchise model that echoed its real-world namesake.
Vivifoxx
Vivifoxx operated the $1 Shop in Ostfold, located across from the Valmur Embassy. Her bargain pricing -- two cookies for a dollar -- earned her an Ostfold Award for Dollar Shop of the Year. In a server where sound money meant prices generally fell over time, Vivifoxx's commitment to rock-bottom pricing made her shop a destination for thrifty players.
