Mein Kraft on the Beach
Ever since first coming ashore, the settlers had wondered what became of Mein Kraft. After immediately heading inland the clansmen were not seen again and no one knew where they had made their base.
Intrepid explorer and mathematician Sharonclaws claimed to have found the Mein Kraft center of operations by visiting the far reaches of the sea and calculating the position of stars to find the exact middle point of the continent. There she said, was a river of great beauty leading to a vast lake surrounded by mountains. And there lived the clan and their many cats. It all sounded fantastical and many were hesitant to believe such a thing without having seen it with their own eyes.
But one day Kayninus, Frozenhammerz and Baskerboss, all famous members of Mein Kraft, appeared at Anchor Bay, just north of Emerald Beach. They brought purpur boxes full of materials and started building on the beach. Curious settlers gazed in wonder as a lovely beach resort took form. Luxurious beds under large umbrellas giving shade from the sun. Barrels full of food and drink. Fires to cook and give warmth and illumination through the night. A strange rectangle intersected by a net suspended between two poles, supposedly the arena for some kind of competition.

And next to the resort a large wooden platform with a wonderous Market, the likes of which had not been seen either in the New World or the Old. The prices here were not fixed, but decided upon by auction. All were invited to place bids and in seven days the highest bidders would receive their goods.
And what goods there were on offer! Enchantments of Endless Durability, a Pillar of Light giving powers to anyone in its vicinity, tools and weapons blessed with Ultimate Serendipity. And chests filled from bottom to top with Iron, Gunpowder and precious Green Mucus.
Neighbors flocked and looked enviously on the treasure. Everyone was eager to get their hands on such riches… but who would have diamonds and determination enough to win the auctions? One thing was for certain—that seven days from that time many diamonds would change hands.
